3 suspects in a substantial-speed pursuit are now in custody soon after hiding in a wooded location from authorities near Keystone Lake in Pawnee County.
According to the Sand Springs Police Division and Oklahoma Freeway Patrol three suspects, two females, and one particular male led officers on a lengthy chase soon after a theft at the Sand Springs Tractor Provide.
The chase started off in Sand Springs and progressed south till the suspect commenced heading westbound on Highway 412 towards Cleveland, Oklahoma. An OHP trooper was equipped to spin the suspect’s auto but the driver recovered and rammed into a pursuing officer’s car or truck.
Pictures were being fired by a Sand Springs officer in that automobile but it is not known if everyone was strike. The suspect then commenced driving the incorrect way down 412 before driving into a wooded location where they abandoned the SUV.
Authorities established a perimeter and searched for hours to uncover the suspects working with K-9, drones, and officers from numerous companies. An off-responsibility deputy noticed the three suspects and regulation enforcement were in a position to just take the suspects into custody just in advance of 6 p.m.
A single of the ladies was taken to a local hospital to be taken care of for dehydration.
Sand Springs Police verified that no officers ended up injured in the course of the chase.
