There are long delays on the M5 motorway in Gloucestershire this afternoon (Thursday, April 28) following a three-car crash on the northbound carriageway. Although all lanes have reopened, traffic remains slow in the area of junction 13 for Stroud and the A419.
Road-watch website Inrix reports that motorists heading towards Gloucester are likely to be affected by the congestion. Motorway cameras have confirmed that, showing long tailbacks in the vicinity of the earlier crash.
The full Inrix log said: “Queueing traffic due to earlier accident, three cars involved on M5 Northbound after J13 A419 (Stroud). All lanes have been re-opened. Delays remain. Affecting traffic approaching Gloucester, cameras show traffic is moving again.”
