The Dacia Sandero is the best-selling vehicle in Serbia in May.
Thanks to our Central European partner CE Auto, we can share with you today new car sales in Serbia, a market edging down -2.1% year-on-year to 2,685 registrations. The year-to-date volume is now down -5.7% to 11,525 units. It’s a great month for Dacia in Serbia, placing two models atop the charts: the Sandero (+311.8%) is up 4-fold to snap the overall pole position with 5.2% of the market vs. 3% year-to-date where it now ranks #4. Just 3 units below is the Duster (+140.4%) now #3 YTD. The Citroen C3 (+124.4%) completes a euphoric podium. Boosted by end-of-life promotions, the Renault Kadjar lodges its very first Top 10 finish in Serbia, directly at #4. The Skoda Superb (+91.5%) also shines year-on-year but falls to #5 for the month vs. #2 YTD. Still #1 year-to-date, the Skoda Fabia (-37.5%) falls to #6 this month. The Fiat Ducato (#7) stays in the Top 10 but it’s not enough to crack the YTD Top 10 just yet.
Previous month: Serbia April 2022: Skoda Fabia cements #1 spot in market freefalling -21.9%
One year ago: Serbia May 2021: Skoda Fabia and Octavia on top, market up 29.2%
